Marketplace Relationship Disclosure

Version 1.1.

SealRunner is a two-sided marketplace operated by MPLLC. This page explains how the two sides relate and how results are ordered.

• Customers search for and send requests to notaries. Searching and requesting is free and requires no account.
• Notaries create and manage their own listings and decide independently which requests to accept. A basic listing is free.
• How results are ordered. Ranking is deterministic and based on: an active commission in the customer's state; the requested service method; whether the notary's service area covers the customer's ZIP code and how far away they are; whether the notary has recently indicated they are available now (for "now" and "today" requests); document category; language; verification status; and profile completeness. Notaries who do not meet the eligibility rules (for example an expired commission, a suspended listing, or an unsupported method) are excluded regardless of anything else.
• Paid placement. As of this version no notary can pay to appear higher in results. The software contains a "featured placement" capability that is switched off. If MPLLC switches it on, featured listings will be labelled "Featured" in results and this page will be updated first.
• Routed requests. When a customer chooses "send to matching notaries", the request goes to up to three of the highest-ranked eligible notaries (available-now notaries first for urgent requests). The first to accept receives the customer's details; the others are released. Notaries can opt out of routed requests and receive a limited number per day.
• Lead and contact routing. SealRunner delivers the customer's first name, contact details and request summary to the notary or notaries who receive the request, and delivers the accepting notary's listed contact details to the customer. SealRunner does not otherwise take part in the engagement.
• Payments. Fees for notarial services are agreed and paid directly between customer and notary. SealRunner does not process, hold or guarantee those payments. Future paid notary features (enhanced profile, priority availability, featured placement, per-lead pricing, business accounts) are not active; if introduced, their pricing and any effect on presentation will be disclosed here before they take effect.
• Reviews and ratings. SealRunner does not currently display ratings or reviews, and never displays invented ones.

SealRunner connects customers with independent notaries. SealRunner does not perform notarizations.
